Actor Ravi Dubey has given good news to his fans. He said that he has become a part of Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming epic film 'Ramayana'. Apart from this, Ravi has also revealed about his character. He will play the character of Laxman in the film, which will star Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is considered to be one of the most awaited Hindi films of the coming years.

In a recent interview, Ravi Dubey confirmed his participation in this film and also spoke openly about the experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor. Talking about his character in 'Ramayana', Ravi said, "I am playing the character of Laxman in the film. I have now got permission from the producer to share information about this." Ravi Dubey further said, "I could not speak about this for a long time because I did not want to make an irresponsible statement and did not want to spoil the plan of Namit (Malhotra) and Nitesh sir regarding the cast." He also added, "It is an honour and responsibility to play the character of Lakshman. His devotion towards his brother Ram and his values are qualities I deeply respect."

On sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor, Ravi said, "He is very kind, warm and the most consummate professional I have ever met. This is the first time I am working with a megastar like Ranbir Kapoor. He has compassion, empathy and respect for everyone." Earlier, casting director Mukesh Chhabra had also revealed that finding the right actor to play Lakshman was a tough task.

Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Ram in 'Ramayan', while Sai Pallavi will play Sita. Superstar Yash will play the role of Raavan. The film will be released in two parts, the first part of which will release in 2026 and the second part in 2027. According to reports, Sunny Deol may also be cast as Lord Hanuman, although neither the actor nor the producer has confirmed anything about it yet.
