Ranbir Kapoor loves Aamir Khan's flop film, Says 'Initially i thought he was joking'

Aamir Khan is always in the headlines for his films. Recently, he shared some interesting things about his 1997 film Ishq. The film starred Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. Aamir said that Ishq is not among his favorite films, although the film did well at the box office and was well appreciated by the audience. Aamir also said that he feels that there are some films which he himself does not like much, but they attract the audience a lot.

While talking to BBC Asian Network, Aamir also revealed about Ranbir Kapoor. He said that Ranbir likes his film Awwal Number very much. Aamir said, "Initially I thought Ranbir was joking, but when he told me about every scene and dialogue of the film, I understood that he really likes this film very much." According to Aamir, Ranbir told him that he became crazy after watching this film in his childhood and considers it one of his favorite films.

When Aamir was asked which is his own favourite film, he said that this question is very difficult. Aamir said, "I am proud of many films, like Taare Zameen Par, 3 Idiots, Lagaan, Dangal, PK and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. There is a different feeling associated with each film and all have their own importance."

Currently, Aamir is promoting his production film Missing Ladies vigorously. This film has received the status of India's official entry for the Oscars this year. The film is directed by his wife Kiran Rao and it was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. On the work front, no film of Aamir Khan has been released after Lal Singh Chaddha. However, he will soon be seen in a film titled Sitare Zameen Par, in which he is also seen with Genelia Deshmukh. This film is directed by RS Prasanna.
