Huma Qureshi, who was last seen on screen in ‘Tarla’ (2023), the biopic on bestselling cookery book author Tarla Dalal, has come out with her second book. Unknown or forgotten by Bollywood historians is the fact that Huma published her first book ‘Zeba: An Accidental Superhero’ last year. And now she is ready with her second book, ‘Dhundh’. Talking about it, Huma said actors are not expected to pursue something as intellectual as writing but she had never asked for anybody’s opinions or adhered to such terms. The writing bug bit her during the Covid lockdown. Being an actor, the first thought was that she ought to write a script. “But there is something very beautiful about writing a book, it sounds very intelligent,” Huma said, adding, “People go through their entire lives scared to experiment.
