Sonu Nigam expresses displeasure over politicians leaving his concert midway, Calls it insult to art

One of the most loved singers of Indian film industry Sonu Nigam has expressed his displeasure over the behaviour of some politicians during one of his concerts in Jaipur. He shared a reel on Instagram and said that recently he had organised a 'Rising Rajasthan' show, in which many people holding the highest positions including Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and the state's Sports and Youth Affairs Minister were present. However, Sonu Nigam was very upset when some of these leaders left his show midway and many other representatives also started following them.

Sonu Nigam termed it as an insult to 'Maa Saraswati' and 'art' and citing an example, said that in countries like America, the President never leaves any program midway, either he does not participate in the program or informs the artist and the organizers in advance. Expressing his displeasure over the whole matter, he said that this shows that there is a lack of respect for the artist and art.

Sonu Nigam wrote on his Instagram with this video, "A humble request to all the respected leaders of India, please do not attend any artist's program until you are able to watch the program completely. If you have to suddenly leave the show in the middle, please inform us first. This is an insult to art, artists and Maa Saraswati."
