Shah Rukh Khan recently visited Chef Vikas Khanna's restaurant and bungalow in New York. During this, Chef Vikas Khanna shared some of his pictures with Shah Rukh Khan and told how emotional he became during this meeting. He said that an important part of his life is associated with three people, one of whom is Shah Rukh Khan.
Vikas Khanna shared his picture with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, "My life revolves around three people - BK, SK, Shah Rukh. My mother, Sanjeev Kapoor and 'The King' (Shahrukh Khan)." Vikas Khanna shared his feelings and said, "When we were talking about how I used to go to watch 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (DDLJ) every time with my sister and watched every Shah Rukh Khan film, then Shah Rukh became a hero for me. His voice, patience, confidence, compassion and friendliness always inspired me." Vikas Khanna further wrote, "To stop my tears, I used to look towards the glass roof and there I saw a light piece of moon, which was telling me that everything will be fine."
He also wrote in his post, "Today is for you, Shahrukh. You held my hand and said, 'This bungalow shows us, our parents, our village and India. This is a lot for a failed boy who came from Amritsar.'"
Vikas Khanna had earlier wished Shahrukh Khan on his birthday through a post. Responding to this post, Shahrukh Khan expressed his gratitude to Vikas Khanna. He wrote, "Thank you Chef Vikas, lots of love from you and thanks for the wonderful dinner in New York." After this, Vikas Khanna took a screenshot of this comment of Shahrukh Khan and shared it on social media.
