Varun Dhawan's film 'Baby John' is a topic of discussion these days. This film is being considered as the biggest action entertainer of 2024. The expectations related to this film have increased even more, but now Atlee himself has confirmed that 'Baby John' is actually a remake of his 2016 superhit film 'Theri', which was inspired by Mani Ratnam's film 'Kshatriya'.

'Theri' was Atlee's second film, after which he made many successful films. The film starred Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. Now talking about 'Baby John', the film will also feature Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles along with Varun Dhawan. Just like 'Theri' had a single hero and two heroines, 'Baby John' also has the same structure. The film is being directed by A. Kaliswaran, while Atlee and his wife Priya are producing it. The film will be released pan India on 25 December 2024. It will be interesting to see the budget of 'Baby John' and its impact on the box office, as 'Theri' earned more than 150 crores on a budget of 75 crores.
