Allu Arjun detained for questioning in connection with woman's death at 'Pushpa 2' premiere

Popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun was detained by the police today. He was brought to the police station for questioning in the case of the death of a woman during the premiere of his film 'Pushpa 2: The Rise'. In the visuals shown on TV, the actor was seen being taken to the police station in a police vehicle amid tight security. During this incident, a woman died and a boy was injured.

According to the information, Chikkadpally police called Allu Arjun to the police station for questioning. This case is related to the stampede in a theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of his film 'Pushpa 2'. In this stampede on December 4, a 39-year-old woman died and her son was seriously injured. Police had registered a case against Sandhya Theater Management, the actor and his security team. Officials said that the police were not informed in advance about the arrival of the film team at the premiere, due to which there was chaos.

Police have registered a case against Allu Arjun in the stampede case in the theater. The woman died during the stampede and her son was hospitalized. Police allege that the actor arrived at the premiere without informing the police, leading to chaos. A case has also been registered against the theatre management for not making arrangements for additional security and crowd management. Allu Arjun and others have been booked under sections 105 and 118(1) of the IPC, which deal with the cause of the woman's death, police said.

According to police, the deceased woman has been identified as 35-year-old Revathi. She had come to the premiere with her 13-year-old son Sreetj, who was also injured in the stampede and has been admitted to a hospital, where he has been kept under observation for 48 hours. Based on a complaint from the deceased's family, police have registered a case against the actor, his security team and the theatre management.
