Allu Arjun was arrested from his house on Friday in connection with the death of a woman in a stampede during the screening of 'Pushpa 2'. After this, he was produced in Nampally Court by Telangana Police. However, after getting bail from the High Court, Allu Arjun was released from jail on Saturday morning and reached home. Meanwhile, during the court hearing, Allu Arjun's lawyer presented an important example related to Shahrukh Khan, which is now a topic of discussion.
Allu Arjun's lawyer cited a case of Shahrukh Khan in the court, in which a person died in a stampede at Vadodara railway station during the promotion of the film 'Raees'. Shahrukh Khan also had to face legal investigation after this incident. The lawyer said that at that time Shahrukh Khan had thrown a T-shirt among his fans, after which a stampede broke out. One person died and some people were injured in this. However, the Gujarat High Court and then the Supreme Court had acquitted Shahrukh Khan in this case.
Allu Arjun's lawyer also cited Shahrukh Khan's decision in the court. He said, "Charges would have been made against Shahrukh Khan only if the death in that stampede was directly related to the actor. In our case, Allu Arjun was on the first floor, while the woman and the child were on the lower floor. Allu Arjun reached there at 9:40 pm, while the police and the theater administration were aware of his arrival. Despite this, no one tried to stop him. Allu was just watching the film, while Shahrukh Khan was throwing T-shirts among the audience at that time." It is worth noting that on December 4, a special screening of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' was held at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, where Allu Arjun and the lead actress of the film Rashmika Mandana suddenly arrived. On their arrival, people ran to go near them and during this a stampede broke out. In this incident, 35-year-old woman Revathi died, while her nine-year-old son Shritej was admitted to the hospital. Following the incident, an FIR was filed against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theatre administration based on a complaint by Revathi's family. The case was registered at the Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Indian Penal Code.
