Veteran actor Mohan Babu has issued a clarification amid the ongoing legal proceedings over the status of his anticipatory bail application. Sharing a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday, he refuted the misinformation being spread about it. He informed that his bail application has not been rejected and it is still under consideration. Along with this, he also assured that he is fully cooperating with the authorized authorities.
Mohan Babu wrote in his post, "False propaganda is being spread. My anticipatory bail has not been rejected yet. I am taking medical care at my home. I request the media to correct the facts." He expressed his full respect for the judicial system and also said that he will follow all the legal processes. Along with this, he urged the public and the media to avoid spreading information without verification, which creates an atmosphere of unnecessary speculation.
Actually, recently a legal action was taken against Mohan Babu when he slapped a journalist during a family dispute, causing injuries to the journalist and fracture of his arm bone. After this incident, the actor filed an anticipatory bail petition. However, some time ago it was reported in the media that his bail plea has been rejected, but Mohan Babu himself has clarified the situation.
On December 10, 2024, Mohan Babu issued a statement expressing regret over the development, stating that the incident took place at his Hyderabad residence when his son Manchu Manoj tried to enter the house. In another statement issued on December 12, Mohan Babu described the whole matter as extremely regrettable and apologized to the injured journalist and his organization. He said that all this happened due to a group of individuals entering his house in a rapist manner.
Thus, Mohan Babu requested the media and the public to give information based on facts and appealed to avoid any kind of false speculation about it.
