According to media reports, actress Tabu can be paired with Akshay Kumar in director Priyadarshan's film 'Bhoot Bangla'. If this happens, Tabu will work with Akshay and Priyadarshan in this film after almost 13 years. Earlier, the three worked together in the 2000 film 'Hera Pheri'.

According to reports, Tabu will be seen playing an important role in this horror-comedy film. Tabu has liked the character and script of the film very much and she is very excited about this film. 'Bhoot Bangla' will be released in 2026. Apart from Akshay Kumar and Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Vimika Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani will also be seen in important roles in this film. The shooting of the film is going on continuously, and it is expected that the shooting of the film will be completed by April 2025.

Akshay revealed the release date of the film on 2 April 2026 along with the poster of the film. So far two posters of 'Bhoot Bangla' have been released. In the second poster, Akshay Kumar is seen as a gatekeeper holding a lantern in his hand. At the same time, in the first poster, Akshay is seen in a blue suit-shirt and red tie with a bowl of milk and a dangerous cat is also seen near him.

Before the film 'Bhoot Bangla', Akshay Kumar has worked with Priyadarshan in many films. The list of these films includes hits like 'Bhagam Bhag', 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', 'De Dana Dan', and 'Hera Pheri'. 'Bhoot Bangla' is being directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Akshay Kumar's production house 'Cape of Good Films'. The story of the film is written by Akash A.
