Recently, a social media post of Vikrant Massey went viral, seeing which many people mistook it as an announcement of his retirement. Refuting these rumors that came after this post, Vikrant said that he was not talking about retirement, but he was planning a long break. Recently, Vikrant told the reason behind this decision and said that he took this decision to spend time with his family. He also said that due to the busy work schedule, he could not go on honeymoon with his wife.

Vikrant said, "When I worked in four films, I realized that I am not able to give anything new. Now I feel that I am doing the same work that I have done before. I think that what is average or below the level is liked by the people. I want to act as much as I can. I want to keep my creativity alive, so I felt that this is the right time for me." Talking about his wife Sheetal, Vikrant said, "I couldn't go on a honeymoon after marriage. I couldn't sit with my wife for more than three months. When my son started calling me 'papa', when he started following me, when his teeth grew, I couldn't see all that. I am only seeing him in videos and pictures."

Again, Vikrant denied the retirement rumours and said, "I am not going anywhere yaar." Vikrant's viral post read, "A lot has changed in the last few years and beyond. I am grateful to everyone who has constantly supported me. But as I move on, I feel it's time to return home. As a husband, father, son and actor."
