Varun Dhawan's Baby John sees massive advance booking, Gearing up for blockbuster release this christmas

Varun Dhawan's fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming film Baby John. The film is set to release in theatres within 24 hours from now, and recently it was announced that the advance booking of the film has also started. Now it has been revealed that Baby John is getting tremendous response in advance booking.

According to a report, Baby John has earned Rs 67.86 crore without blocking any seat. The film has sold more than 21,000 tickets across India on the very first day. Apart from Varun Dhawan, Baby John stars Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead roles. Bollywood's Dabangg Salman Khan will also be seen doing a special cameo in the film. Directed by Kalees, the film is set to release in theatres this Christmas, making it likely to have a blockbuster collection.

According to media reports, Varun Dhawan recently revealed that he performed almost all the stunts in Baby John himself, and used body doubles only for a short time. Varun said, "The scale of action in the film is huge, and I have done most of the stunts myself. Working with Kalees was a great challenge. He pushed me to push my physical limits everyday." Meanwhile, Baby John has opened with an advance booking of Rs 67.86 crore, while Allu Arjun's film Pushpa 2: The Rule had an advance booking of over Rs 100 crore worldwide. Now it remains to be seen whether Varun's Baby John will be able to compete with Pushpa 2 or not.

Varun revealed one of the most difficult action scenes, in which he had to hang upside down for more than six hours. He said, "It has been a tough but self-satisfying journey." Director Kalij also said that eight action directors are working in Baby John, who are preparing thrilling fight scenes by performing different stunts. Kalij said, "It was a great pleasure to have eight renowned action directors in our team, who will make the action of the film tremendous by performing different types of stunts."
