Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi recently recalled the painful time of his teenage years, which deeply affected his life. In an interview, Vivek told that when he was 17 years old, he lost his childhood friend and first girlfriend due to cancer. He described it as one of the most difficult and life-changing experiences of his life.

Vivek said that he had many dreams of the future with his first girlfriend, which included plans to get married and spend the whole life together. But her untimely death shattered all these dreams and he was badly broken. Vivek said, "I thought she was my life partner. I thought in my mind that we would go to college together, get married and raise children. I had completely planned our future."

Vivek further said, "When I could not contact her and her family, I spoke to her cousin who told me that she was in the hospital. When I reached there, it was revealed that she was in the last stage of lymphoblastic leukemia. It was a huge shock. Despite all our efforts, she left us in just two months. I was completely shattered and in grief." Talking about work, Vivek Oberoi was recently seen in Rohit Shetty's web series 'Indian Police Force'. The show also stars Siddharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty in important roles. The show is currently streaming on Prime Video.
