The controversy between A.P. Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh has now taken a new turn. Recently, Dhillon spoke during a podcast about the process of tickets that get sold out in seconds, especially the tickets of Diljit Dosanjh's 'Dil-Luminati' tour. Although Dhillon did not directly name Dosanjh, he indirectly accused the artists of doing injustice to their fans.
Dhillon said in Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast, "Artists sell tickets to their promoters in advance, due to which fans have to buy them at high prices. This is a marketing trick. Artists show that the shows get housefull in 15 seconds, but in reality it does not happen." He also said that many times he also thought of doing the same, but in the end he refused to adopt it due to his self-respect and morality. "We thought about doing this too, but then I felt it was not right. We can't do this to people who come to watch our shows," Dhillon said. He called it a 'dirty game' and stood up for fans, saying they should get tickets at the right price.
Diljit Dosanjh's 'Dil-Luminati' tour will end in Ludhiana on December 31, and just like other cities, tickets for the Ludhiana concert were sold out within minutes. The controversy started when Diljit wished Dhillon and Karan Aujla at his Indore concert, following which Dhillon asked Dosanjh to unblock him on Instagram, and Dosanjh then wished Dhillon at his Chandigarh concert.
