AP Dhillon announces he will no longer sing film songs, Rejects multiple offers

Popular singer-rapper AP Dhillon is in the news these days for his alleged rivalry with Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. Both are indirectly commenting on each other. At the same time, AP Dhillon is now in the news due to another revelation. AP has announced that he will no longer sing songs for films. The singer says that he had received offers to sing in many films, but he refused them.

AP Dhillon said in Ranveer Allahabadia's podcast that he has received offers to sing in films many times, but he refused it himself. He said that he does not want to be a part of the herd mentality by singing film songs. Apart from this, AP also said that he does not want to sell his music, so he does not want to sing film songs. AP Dhillon is known for hit tracks like "Brown Munde", "Excuse" and "With You". AP also said that he prefers to release his own album instead of film songs. On Ranveer's show, AP Dhillon said, "I got offers to work and sing in films two years ago. For the last two years I have been rejecting them and ruining my relationships, but only because I don't want to be a part of the herd like the rest."

AP Dhillon further said that one should stay true to his art. After this, there is no need for any kind of promotion. AP also admitted that singing in films is not wrong from a commercial point of view, but his aim is to do something new and different. Along with this, AP Dhillon also said that he is working on a Hindi song, but this song is not for any film. His aim is to set an example for new and emerging artists.

At present, AP Dhillon has decided not to sing songs in films, whereas Diljit Dosanjh has sung songs in many films. Has AP Dhillon indirectly taken a dig at Diljit Dosanjh? The answer to this question will depend on Diljit's reaction, which has not been revealed yet.
