When I was young, good-looking, and fit, they tried to take advantage of me," Ravi Kishan opens up about casting couch

Bollywood and Bhojpuri film superstar Ravi Kishan recently spoke openly about facing casting couch in the early days of his career. Ravi told how he left his village in Bihar to escape his poverty and came to Mumbai and started struggling. During this difficult period, some people were trying to take advantage of his weaknesses, but Ravi did not compromise his principles and refused any kind of rape proposal.

In a recent interview, Ravi Kishan talked about the problem of men also being targeted by sexual harassers in the film industry. He said, "When you are young, good-looking, fit, but have no money, some people try to take advantage of your weakness. This happens not only in the film industry, but also in many other fields. They try their hand and hope it works." Sharing his experience, Ravi Kishan told that due to his tall height, thin physique, long hair and wearing earrings, he had to face unwanted proposals many times. He advised new artists not to succumb to such pressures.

He said, "I have been attacked many times, but I want to say that there is no shortcut to success. I have seen many people who took shortcuts and later regretted it a lot. Some became victims of drug addiction, while some even took their own lives." Ravi Kishan also said that "I have never seen anyone become a star through shortcuts. Wait for the time, be patient. I always used to tell myself that one day the sun will shine for me too. In the 90s, my friends Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan became superstars, but I waited for my time to come." Currently, Ravi Kishan's career is moving towards heights, and he is very happy about this.
