In Baby John Keerthy Suresh played the same role that Samantha Ruth Prabhu played in the film Theri.

In a recent interview, Keerthy Suresh revealed that this film was suggested to her by someone special and she was very nervous about this film. According to media reports, Keerthy said that Samantha Ruth Prabhu recommended her for the film Baby John. Keerthy said, "When this was happening, she must have been thinking of me. Varun Dhawan told me this. I am very grateful for this. Samantha said that 'Keerthi will play this character very well.'" Keerthy also said, "Samantha's performance in Theri is one of my favorites. To be honest, I was very scared about this film." After this, Keerthy also told that when Samantha saw the trailer of Baby John, she shared a story on Instagram in which she wrote, "I will not share this with anyone else, but definitely with you." Keerthy said that it was very cute and it meant a lot to her.

After the release of Baby John Keerthy Suresh's performance was appreciated by the audience, even though the film did not do much success at the box office. In this film, Keerthy played the character named Meera, which was liked by the audience. Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh recently married her long-time boyfriend Antony. The couple got married in a traditional South Indian way in Goa on December 12. Photos and videos of their wedding went viral on social media. Antony is a businessman and works from Dubai and Kochi (Kerala). Interestingly, Dulpati Vijay also attended the wedding.
