Sajid Khan opens up about suicidal thoughts and struggles after #MeToo controversy

Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Khan's personal life has been in a lot of controversies. His name also came up in the #MeToo movement in 2018. After this, Sajid's career fell a lot and no one was ready to work with him. After this, Sajid had to resort to Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss to improve his image. Now recently Sajid revealed that during the difficult phase of his life, he thought of committing suicide many times. Let's know what the filmmaker has said.

In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sajid Khan said, "In the last 6 years, I thought of ending my life many times. It was a very bad phase, because I was not getting work." The filmmaker further told that despite getting clearance from the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) in #MeToo cases, he is still struggling to get work. He also said that due to not getting work for a long time, all his savings were exhausted and he had to sell his house and live in a rented house.

Recalling his struggles, Sajid said, "I started working when I was 14 years old because my father passed away and he left me and my sister Farah Khan in debt. Today I wish my mother was alive and could see me stand up with my hard work. I used to take care of my mother more, not as a son. Life has been very difficult." It is worth noting that in 2018, many women accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment. Ahana Kumar, Sherlyn Chopra, Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra and nine other women made serious allegations against him.
