Every day something new is coming out regarding the stampede incident at Sandhya Theater, and now the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken a new turn in this matter.
According to reports, the National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to the DGP of Telangana and the Hyderabad Police Commissioner. In this notice, they have been directed to submit a detailed action report (ATR) within four weeks on the stampede incident that took place on December 4 at Sandhya 70 mm Theater. This notice has been issued after a complaint made by Advocate Rama Rao Imani. It is alleged that the police had lathicharged in this case. On this, ATR has been sought regarding the lathicharge of the police. A woman died in the stampede during the show of the film 'Pushpa 2' on December 4, while her son suffered serious injuries.
Actor Allu Arjun also put forth his point in this incident and held a press conference. Actor Allu Arjun had to spend a night in jail after being arrested in this case, but he later got bail. He was also questioned. After his arrest on December 13, incidents of vandalism were also reported in his Jubilee Hills house, which further heated up the matter. Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police has also sent him a summons. Politics has also heated up over this matter and many controversies have arisen. Now NHRC has taken serious notice of this matter and has taken steps towards action.
