Sunita told in an interview how producers used to take advantage of Govinda and pay him late. However, Sunita also admitted that Govinda is so naive that he used to fail to handle such situations. In an interview with Housefly, Sunita said, "I used to look after Govinda's work. As a manager, I saw people not paying him and Govinda would say, 'Leave it, his show must not have gone well.'" Sunita added, "I think an artist has the right to get his fees." Sunita also revealed that the show organisers would often make excuses to Govinda for making the payment. He would say, "Chichi Bhaiya, the tickets did not sell. I will pay you 20-25 lakh rupees later." But Sunita was not going to believe these excuses. She got angry and said, "Who are you fooling?" She would stand and watch and find that the show was a full house.
