"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" makes a glorious comeback: Re-release collects ₹7.75 crores in first four days

The 2013 film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is once again making a splash on the big screen. Despite being re-released after 12 years, the film has performed brilliantly at the box office. The film made a great collection in the first weekend itself. 1.15 crores were collected on Friday, 2.25 crores on Saturday and 2.85 crores on Sunday. Interestingly, the film earned 1.5 crores on Monday, which was more than Friday's 1.15 crores, thus the film's earnings are continuously getting stronger.

The film has collected a total of 7.75 crores in the first four days. This figure is a great achievement for Bollywood's re-release films. During this time, the film has also surpassed Varun Dhawan's film ‘Bhediya’, which earned only 0.90 crore on Sunday. At the same time, this film is in second place among Bollywood re-release films in terms of opening collection. In the first place is ‘Tumbbad’, which did a business of 1.5 crore.

In 2013, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ earned a brilliant 188.57 crore, and if its performance continues like this, the film can cross the 200 crore mark. The return of this film proves that the attraction towards old films remains in the hearts of the audience and such films always hold a special place among cinema lovers.
