The death of Bollywood's best actor Irrfan Khan is an irreparable loss for his fans. Irrfan will always be remembered for his acting and simplicity, but there were some dreams of his life that could never be fulfilled. His wife Sutapa Sikdar recently talked about this at the Irrfan Theatre Festival and shared Irrfan's unfulfilled dreams.
Sutapa said that Irrfan Khan's dream was to open an acting institute in Jaipur, where new artists could be taught acting. Apart from this, Irrfan also had a keen interest in agriculture. He had also bought a mango orchard in Maharashtra and planned to plant fruit orchards in many other places. However, all these dreams remained unfulfilled due to Irrfan's death. Sutapa also said that Irrfan respected Mahesh Bhatt a lot. Mahesh ji introduced him to J. Krishnamurthy and Osho. Irrfan gave a lot of importance to the ideology of these great and spiritual personalities and believed that the basic essence of all spiritual paths is the same.
Recalling her and Irrfan's old days, Sutapa said, "We never saw the days of struggle. We both used to start on a bike, then bought a big car. We spent a lot of good times together. We loved reading books and listening to poetry." Sutapa became very emotional while sharing these memories.
Nowadays, Irrfan and Sutapa's son Babil Khan is also active in the film industry and has worked in many films. Irrfan's influence can be clearly seen in Babil's acting. However, many times the audience compares Babil and Irrfan, but Sutapa does not like this comparison. She says that such comparison puts additional pressure on Babil.
