Hrithik Roshan entered the film industry in 2000 with his Bollywood debut film 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai'. He became a star with his very first film, and this year his journey in the film industry is turning 25 years old. This is a double joyous occasion for him, as his birthday is also on January 10 and on the same day his debut film 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' is being re-released after 25 years. While fans are getting very nostalgic on this occasion, Hrithik was also seen remembering the days of his first film.

Recently, before the re-release of 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai', Hrithik Roshan interacted with the media and expressed his gratitude on the occasion. He said that the media helped him a lot in improving his personality and making him responsible. Hrithik revealed that he was very shy, and when his first film was released, he did not step out of his house. He did not want to give a single interview till then.

Talking about his journey in the film industry, Hrithik Roshan said, "25 years! I remember 25 years ago when 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai' was released, I was so shy and anxious that I didn't give a single interview. I didn't step out of the house, skipped promotional events. It's been 25 years now, and it's still the same. I'm still as shy as ever. This is an opportunity, an excuse, to say things that I probably would have never said in 25 years." He further said, "I really feel that you all helped me a lot. I thank the media for the person and actor that these 25 years have made me. Your questions made me uncomfortable, but this discomfort made me grow. Sometimes you made me feel responsible, sometimes you held me accountable. This is not good for a shy person, but it was the media that told people how to see and understand me. I thank everyone for supporting me so much in this journey."

The film 'Kaho Naa Pyar Hai' was directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan. The pairing of Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel in this film was very much liked by the audience. This was the debut of both. Apart from this, the film also featured veteran actors like Anupam Kher, Farida Jalal and Dilip Tahil. This film proved to be a blockbuster at the box office and is still fresh in the hearts of the people.
