Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee recently opened up about his relationship with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide in June 2020 at the age of just 34 in his Mont Blanc apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Manoj Bajpayee revealed that Sushant's death affected him deeply and he was depressed by the incident for three months.

During a recent interview with Mid-Day, Manoj said that the reasons for Sushant's suicide have not been clear till date and people are just speculating about his death. He said, "I can say that he was not crazy. He had knowledge of a lot of things. He was a very good reader. He was always reading books on and off set. He also had a great knowledge of quantum physics. He would always talk to me about spirituality and connect it with quantum physics. He was a person with a brilliant mind."

Manoj also said that he does not want to reach any conclusion as he himself does not know what happened to him. Even the CBI has not been able to reach any conclusion in this case. Manoj said that the news of Sushant's death affected him very badly and he was depressed for three months because he knew Sushant personally and closely.

Manoj also talked about the film industry and said that he often used to talk to Sushant about the industry and its politics. He said, "I always used to advise him that you have to develop a thick skin, otherwise it will kill you. I myself am a thick-skinned person because I have faced rejection many times, and it has become a part of my life, but many of my friends were not like this. They could not handle rejection like me."
