Fashion designer and actress Neena Gupta's daughter Masaba Gupta and her husband Satyadeep Mishra welcomed their first daughter in October 2024. Now, almost three months later, on the occasion of Lohri, Masaba has told her fans the name of her daughter. She has named her daughter 'Matara', which is based on the name of Mata Rani. Masaba has given this information through her social media post.

Masaba Gupta shared a post on Instagram, in which a glimpse of her daughter's hand is seen. Along with this, a glimpse of Masaba's hand is also seen, in which she is wearing a bracelet, on which her daughter's name 'Matara' is written. In the caption of the post, Masaba wrote, "It has been three months since the birth of my Matara. This name symbolizes the divine female energy of 9 Hindu goddesses, based on their strength and intelligence. Apple of our eye, this is the name of our daughter."

Masaba Gupta gave birth to her daughter on 11 October 2024. Many stars of the film world have congratulated me on this post. Mouni Roy, Dia Mirza, Anshula Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Shobhita Dhulipala gave their best wishes on Masaba's post and blessed the newborn. Apart from this, Smriti Irani, who is active in politics, also blessed the baby girl. Masaba's fans also commented a lot on the post and congratulated her.

It is worth noting that Masaba Gupta had earlier married producer Madhu Mantena in 2015, but their married life could not last long and both got divorced in 2018.
