Ranbir Kapoor to transform for ‘Dhoom 4’, filming set to begin in April 2026

Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love and War', which is going on in Mumbai. Meanwhile, sources have reported that Ranbir Kapoor will start shooting for 'Dhoom 4' next April. Ranbir's film 'Love and War' also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. Apart from this, Ranbir also has Nitesh Tiwari's film 'Ramayan' in the pipeline, which is another big project in his career.

Speaking to India Today, a source said, "Dhoom 4 will require Ranbir Kapoor to have a different look and before that he will complete the shooting of both his current films. The shooting of 'Dhoom 4' is likely to start next April. Currently the production team of the film is looking for two lead female characters and a villain. Some names from the South industry are being discussed for the villain of the film."

The 'Dhoom' franchise, which was produced by Aditya Chopra in 2004, started action cinema in a new direction. Hrithik Roshan in 'Dhoom 2' (2006) and Aamir Khan in 'Dhoom 3' (2013) gave the film a new height. Now the audience is eagerly waiting for the casting of 'Dhoom 4'. Sources say that talks were going on for a long time regarding his casting in 'Dhoom 4'. When Ranbir heard the script of the film, he was eager to join the project, and now he has become a part of this film. Aditya Chopra believes that Ranbir is the right actor to carry forward the legacy of this film.

Talking about Ranbir's work front, he has more big projects. 'Animal' sequel 'Animal Park' is also in the pipeline, although the shooting of this sequel will take time, as Prabhas also has a role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next film 'Spirit'.
