The story of the series is set in the 90s, when the atmosphere of Mumbai was very dangerous and the underworld ruled. Prostitution and exploitation of women was also a big issue in the city at this time, and the series depicts the pain of women who try to get out of this quagmire.

Kadir Khan's character is respected throughout the city and has the key to the entire network of the underworld. However, there are many complications in his personal life.
