Kailash Kher expresses pride in performing at Maha Kumbh, Urges devotees to experience the spiritual festival

Renowned singer Kailash Kher expressed his happiness on the opportunity to perform live in front of devotees at the official cultural zone of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. On this prestigious occasion, Kailash Kher spoke at length on the significance of Maha Kumbh and called it a historic festival linked to Hindu mythology.

Kailash Kher, while talking to ANI, said, "Mahakumbh is a historic festival. It presents the essence of Sanatan culture. It is a matter of pride for me to get this opportunity to perform in front of devotees at Sangam. Maha Kumbh reflects the cultural and spiritual power of India in a concrete form." He also plans to take a holy dip in Sangam and calls upon devotees to join the Maha Kumbh. Kailash Kher said, "Everyone must visit Maha Kumbh, there will be a lot to learn about Hindu culture there."

Recently, folk singer Malini Awasthi took a holy dip in Sangam. Talking about taking a dip in the Maha Kumbh on Makar Sankranti, Malini Awasthi said, "When we all went to take a dip in the Sangam on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, the experience was amazing. Even in this winter when people do not come out of their blankets, children and elders showed great enthusiasm to take a dip in the Triveni. The management of this entire event was very good."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also congratulated all the devotees who took part in the first Amrit Snan. The Chief Minister posted on Twitter, "This is a living proof of our Sanatan culture and faith. Today on this great occasion of Makar Sankranti, best wishes to all the devotees for earning Punya for the first Amrit Snan at the Triveni Sangam of Mahakumbh-2025, Prayagraj."

The Maha Kumbh began on January 13 and will continue till February 26. The major bathing dates during this period are January 29 (Mauni Amavasya – Second Royal Bath), February 3 (Basant Panchami – Third Royal Bath), February 12 (Maghi Purnima), and February 26 (Mahashivratri).
