Coldplay's Mumbai concert: Fans excited as band arrives; Authorities issue safety guidelines

Popular British rock band Coldplay's concert is going to be held in Mumbai. This concert will be held on 18, 19 and 21 January at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Coldplay band members have reached Mumbai for this concert and were recently seen at Kalina Airport.

Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin was seen exiting Kalina Airport. His fans are very excited for this concert. All other members of the band were also with him and were present at the airport. This concert is part of Coldplay's 'Music of the Spear World Tour', in which the band has organized three shows on 18, 19 and 21 January at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. However, a Chandigarh resident has lodged a complaint regarding this concert, expressing concern about the safety of children.

If media reports are to be believed, Coldplay may organize another show in India. Some reports are claiming that Chris Martin will perform a show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25, 2025. The news has created a wave of excitement among netizens across the country and as a result, hotel prices in Ahmedabad have also started skyrocketing.

Following a complaint from a Chandigarh resident, Thane district officials issued a notice to the concert organisers, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin and the event's ticket partner BookMyShow on January 14. The notice states some rules that will have to be followed. It states that children cannot be brought on stage in any form during the concert. Also, the sound level at the concert should not exceed 120 decibels.
