Critics are unanimous in their praise for Veer Pahariya’s performance in ‘Sky Force’

There is no doubt in anybody’s mind. Veer Pahariya has admirably and courageously held his own alongside Akshay Kumar in his Bollywood debut ‘Sky Force’ that released to cheering audiences today. Which is not an easy thing to do. The critics are also suitably impressed with the young actor’s performance as the martyred Squadron Leader Ajjamada Bopayya Devayya of the Indian Air Force who played a heroic role in the 1965 Indo-Pak war. Almost without exception, every print and digital media company covering Bollywood has given ‘Sky Force’ a rating of 4 stars and had special mention made of Veer Pahariya.

Audiences and critics are not just liking his acting, but also Veer Pahariya’s strong presence in the film directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani. The young debutant has made his intention clear by carving his own niche in ‘Sky Force’: he’s going to be an action to watch out for in Bollywood. When the dust raised by ‘Sky Force’ settles down, filmmakers will be scrambling to sign on Veer Pahariya with scripts whose characters, their struggles and their victories tell the story. He is of the firm opinion that “this is what makes an actor memorable, not star value”. Talking to the media he stressed, “I want the audiences to see my work!”
