Recently, some pictures went viral on social media, in which Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor were seen riding a boat near Athirapally waterfall in Kerala. During this, Janhvi looks very beautiful in an off-white saree, while Siddharth looks very smart in a blue shirt and gray pants. In some other pictures, Siddharth was seen posing with fans on the set. In one picture, Janhvi is seen sitting on a boat and also has an umbrella in her hand.

In December 2024, Maddock Films announced that Janhvi Kapoor and Siddharth Malhotra will be seen together in a romantic-comedy film. The film is based on the love story of a boy and a girl, in which the boy is from North India and the girl is from South India.

The makers of the film also announced its release last year. He wrote, "The swag of the North, the pride of the South—two worlds collide and the colors of love are spread. Dinesh Vijan presents 'Paramsundari', a love story directed by Tushar Jalota. The film will release in theaters on 25th July 2025." In this film, Siddharth and Janhvi will be seen together on the big screen for the first time.
