The film 'Sanam Teri Kasam' is once again making a splash in theaters these days. The film is performing well in its second innings, while the audience is also eagerly waiting for its sequel. Its second part was announced a long time ago and now an update has also come regarding its release date.

The film 'Sanam Teri Kasam' was released in the year 2016. At that time, this film did not get much appreciation, due to which it proved to be a flop at the box office. Recently, it was re-released on the occasion of Valentine's Day and this time the film has cast its spell on the audience. The director of the film has also hinted about its sequel.

In a recent interview, 'Sanam Teri Kasam' directors Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru revealed that the second part of the film is almost ready. It may release on Valentine's Day next year. Speaking to India Forum, the director of the film revealed that the story of the first part was written in two parts and now they are completely clear about the story of the second part as well, especially about Inder's (Harshvardhan Rane) journey.

The directors also revealed that the script of 'Sanam Teri Kasam 2' is already ready and after the re-release of the first film on Valentine's Day, the film can be released by next Valentine's Day i.e. February 2026. They also said that most of the songs of the sequel are already ready and the work on the film is going on at a fast pace. An official announcement will be made soon.

The film 'Sanam Teri Kasam' was re-released on 7 February 2025. Two more films like 'Lowayepa' and 'Badass Ravi Kumar' were also released on the same day. Despite competing with both the new films, 'Sanam Teri Kasam' received a great response. The film crossed the lifetime business in just two days as compared to its original release. The film had earned only Rs 9 crore in 2016, whereas after the re-release, the film has earned Rs 15.50 crore so far.
