Director Nikkhil Advani has made several films with big stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. During an interview, Nikhil said that he no longer knows how to make films with superstars. According to Nikhil, fans expect big box office collections from these stars, and in such a situation, even though he can make a film with these stars, he does not want to direct them because he wants to avoid this pressure.
According to the Indian Express report, Nikhil said, "I do not want to make a film with Salman." He said that he considers himself "very lucky" that he has the freedom to choose who to work with. Nikhil further said, "I tell everyone, John and Akshay's films are big budget and I don't know how to make a film that earns Rs 600-800 crore."
The director said that stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan are very big stars. His films earn huge numbers to fulfill the expectations of his fans, and according to Nikhil, he is not ready to make such big budget films. Talking about Shah Rukh, Nikhil said, "We have a good working partnership in Kal Ho Na Ho". Nikhil said that at the moment he does not have any special work for Shah Rukh. He also said, "Unless I feel that I can beat films like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'Kal Ho Na Ho', I will not work with him."
Nikhil Advani also said that Shah Rukh had expressed his desire to do a film with him, that's why he got a chance to work in a film like "Kal Ho Na Ho". Nikhil also said that he only wanted to do action films, he was not particularly interested in doing love stories. Now he did the same work in films like "Don" and "Pathan", which he liked. Director Nikkhil Advani is known for films like 'Hero', 'Batla House', 'Veda', 'Salaam-E-Ishq', and 'Kal Ho Naa Ho'.
