Social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, popularly known as 'Rebel Kid', is in the news these days due to the show 'India's Got Latent'. She has been facing constant criticism on social media after the controversial comments made by her in this show.
Meanwhile, Apoorva has suffered another big blow. Her name has been removed from the list of official ambassadors of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards to be held next month in Jaipur. This move has been taken at a time when a controversy erupted after the indecent comments made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva Makhija in an episode of 'India's Got Latent'.
An official statement issued by the office of Rajasthan Tourism Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said, "IIFA has said that the name of social media influencer Apoorva Makhija has been removed from the list of IIFA ambassadors. She is no longer officially listed as an IIFA ambassador." Let us tell you that recently Karni Sena had threatened to stop Apoorva's shooting in Udaipur, which was scheduled to take place later this month.
The IIFA Awards ceremony is going to be held in Jaipur on March 8 and 9, which will be organized by IIFA under the supervision of Rajasthan Tourism Ministry. Earlier Apoorva was appointed as the ambassador for this ceremony, but now her name has been removed.
