Prakash Babbar's son actor Prateik Babbar married Priya Banerjee on February 14, i.e. Valentine's Day. For this wedding, he chose the house of his late mother Smita Patil. Prateik said that he got married at his mother's house as it was the best way to honor her soul. However, Prateik's father Raj Babbar did not attend the wedding nor did Prateek invite any member of the Babar family to the wedding. After this, Prateik's half-brother Arya Babbar made a sharp comment on this and said that some outsider is instigating Prateik and trying to distance him from the family.

Raj Babbar had two children, daughter Juhi Babbar and son Arya Babbar, from his first wife Nadira Babar. Then later he married Smita Patil for the second time, from whom Prateik Babbar was born. Unfortunately, Smita Patil passed away just a few days after Prateik's birth. FYI, This is Prateik's second marriage. Earlier, he was married to Sangya Sagar, but both got divorced in 2023.

Arya Babbar posted a video on social media on Prateik's second marriage. Arya Babbar expressed his disappointment while talking to the media about not being invited to Prateik's wedding.
