Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt denied these rumors during a conversation with Bollywood Hungama. He said, "This news is absolutely false. I am not making any mythological film with Ram Charan." Earlier, a report claimed that it would be a big budget film, based on the background of an important character of Indian mythology.

Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt called the year 2024 an important year for him and said that the appreciation his film 'Kill' has received in India and abroad is a big achievement for him. He said, "After the critical acclaim that Kill has received in India and abroad, I feel like I have stepped into a world where stories can cross boundaries and connect with local and global audiences. More than the success, the recognition for storytelling has made this year special."

Talking about his next project, Nikkhil said, "I am currently working on a new story. While it is too early to say much about it, I can promise that it will be in line with my love for action films but will have emotional depth. It will be a film that has never challenged me in any project before, and I am excited to explore new boundaries towards new storytelling with it."
