Shah Rukh Khan rents two luxurious duplexes in Pali Hill, Mumbai; Plans to expand ‘Mannat’

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has rented two luxurious duplex apartments in Pali Hill area of Khar, Mumbai. According to media reports, Shah Rukh will have to pay a total rent of 8.67 crores for these two apartments in three years.

According to property portal Zapkey.com, Shah Rukh has rented one duplex from actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepika Bhagnani, while the other duplex is rented by Shah Rukh from film producer Vashu Bhagnani. The rent of Jackky Bhagnani's property is 11.54 lakh per month, while the rent of Vashu Bhagnani's apartment is 12.61 lakh per month. Both duplexes are located in a building called 'Pooja Casa', which are built on the first, second, seventh and eighth floors.

Apart from this, according to reports, Shah Rukh Khan's family is planning to make their current housing even more grand. Shah Rukh's wife and famous interior designer Gauri Khan made an official application to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) last month. In this, permission was sought to build two more floors above the house. This application was reviewed in a meeting held on December 10 and 11.

Currently, Shah Rukh's house 'Mannat' is a 6-storey house, which was built in 1914. Gauri Khan has sought permission to increase it from 6 floors to 8 floors. The total area of 'Mannat' is 2091.38 square meters. On the work front, Shah Rukh is currently working on Sujoy Ghosh's action film 'King'. His daughter Suhana Khan is also going to make her Bollywood debut in this film.
