Mumbai cyber cell issues show cause notice to ticket agency over sale of nameless tickets for Honey Singh's event

Mumbai Cyber Cell has sent a show cause notice to the ticket agency regarding rapper Honey Singh's event in Maharashtra. It has been alleged that tickets for this concert were sold without a name. Mumbai Cyber Cell had warned ticket agencies about black marketing. Recently, nameless tickets for Honey Singh's upcoming concert were again sold on the Zomato ticketing platform, due to which Mumbai Cyber Cell chief Yashasvi Jaiswal sent them a show cause notice and sought a reply.

Earlier, a case of black marketing of tickets was also reported during the India tour of 'Coldplay Band'. Due to the sale of tickets without a name, people bought tickets in large quantities and then sold them at high prices. Taking strict action in this matter, Mumbai Cyber Cell had ordered ticketing platforms Book My Show and Zomato to print the name of the buyer on the tickets for big events.

Now, Maharashtra Cyber Cell is soon going to release a white paper on this ticketing system, which has been prepared based on the inputs received from operators of all ticketing platforms. This white paper will be in legal form, which will give information about the changes to be made in the ticketing system. Singer Honey Singh is organizing two concerts under the 'Millionaire India Tour'. One of these two concerts will be held in Mumbai on February 22 and the other in Pune on March14.
