Paresh Rawal recently expressed his opinion about 'Phir Hera Pheri' in an interview. During this, he also discussed some of the weaknesses of the film. 'Phir Hera Pheri' was a sequel to the 2000 hit film 'Hera Pheri', starring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles.
Although the film was a box office success, Paresh Rawal believes that the film did not reach its full potential. He believes that there were some unnecessary scenes in the film, which caused a mess in the story. While talking to Siddharth Kannan, Paresh said that the simplicity of the film was lost due to showing more confidence in 'Phir Hera Pheri'. According to him, attempts were made to bring forced laughter in the film, but he feels that restraint is necessary in humor. Paresh also said that the character of Baburao was completely unused, and a lot more could have been done in it.
Paresh Rawal gave the example of 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai' and said that it was a great sequel. At the same time, another discussion about the 'Hera Pheri' franchise was that Kartik Aaryan would replace Akshay Kumar, as happened in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. However, Paresh clarified that Kartik was signed for a different role in 'Hera Pheri 3' and not for the character of Raju.
Later when Priyadarshan joined the film, Kartik was removed and the story was changed. Paresh said that Kartik was earlier signed for a different role, but now he is not a part of the film. He also confirmed that 'Hera Pheri 3' will have the same old cast and the shooting of the film will start in August or September. In this way, Paresh Rawal spoke about 'Phir Hera Pheri' and 'Hera Pheri 3' and gave the audience some important information about the future of the film.
