Singer Sonu Nigam apologizes for his mistake while singing 'Mere Dholna' in a concert

Sonu Nigam is known as one of the finest singers in the country. During his career, he has lent his voice to many memorable songs. Recently, Sonu Nigam became emotional and started crying while singing 'Mere Dholna' during a live performance in Bangalore. After this, he shared a video on Instagram and said that he did not want to cry like this on stage.

Sonu Nigam told in his video on Instagram how he became emotional while singing 'Mere Dholna'. He said, "Such a situation was created that people also started connecting with it. Today I sang 'Mere Dholna' for the first time. After this, such an atmosphere was created that I became very emotional. I felt like crying! But I thought I would take a chance. I was not able to sing. I have never cried so much on stage. If it was up to me, I would have stopped singing, but if I did that, people would have misunderstood."

Sonu Nigam further said, "Hopefully I will not cry in the next stage show." The singer also revealed that he felt the same way in 2013 when his mother passed away. He revealed that it was a very tough time after his mother's demise and he would often cry on stage during that time. He ended the video by saying, "Thank you for your love, forgive me for my mistake. I am a human being, sometimes I get emotional." Sonu Nigam's song 'Mere Dholna 3.0', which was from the film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', was released in theatres last year and was a huge hit among the audience. The song was played in the climax of the film. The film featured Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan in important roles.
