Aamir Khan reveals he was depressed after 'Lal Singh Chadha' failure, Says 'I cried for two to three weeks'

Recently, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan spoke openly about the failure of his films 'Lal Singh Chaddha' and 'Thugs of Hindostan'. In an ABP program, the actor talked about his mental state after the failure of these films.

Aamir said that when 'Lal Singh Chaddha' and 'Thugs of Hindostan' did not do well at the box office, he cried continuously for two-three weeks and went into depression. He said that he gives a lot of importance to his failures, because they teach him that he should work harder. 'Lal Singh Chaddha' was a Hindi remake of the film 'Forrest Gump', in which Kareena Kapoor Khan was also in the lead role along with Aamir. Aamir said, "I was very sad at that time, because I am very emotional. 'Thugs of Hindostan' was a weak film, we could not make the film we wanted. Making a film is a very difficult task, many times we are not able to do what we want to do." Aamir also said that this does not mean that we do not know how to work, we should learn from our mistakes.

About 'Lal Singh Chaddha', Aamir said that the film was completely dependent on the performance of the lead actor. He said, "The pitch of my acting was very high. Tom Hanks did such a great job in the original film, and he took the audience on a journey, while I could not do that." Aamir said that when his films fail, he remains depressed for two-three weeks, not being able to work, and just keeps crying. After this, when the mourning period is over, he calls his team and reflects on his failures, trying to understand where he made a mistake.
