Paresh Rawal reveals how bollywood filmmakers used to steal hollywood stories in the 80s & 90s

Paresh Rawal is one of the best Bollywood actors who can play any kind of character brilliantly. Even in the 90s, this actor played many memorable characters on screen. Recently, Paresh Rawal revealed in an interview on Siddharth Kannan's YouTube channel that in the 80s and 90s, filmmakers used to steal stories from Hollywood films and use them in their films.

Paresh Rawal said in the interview, "I have seen myself that filmmakers used to bring cassettes of Hollywood films and tell us to watch it. Later the same filmmakers used to make their film by adding some Hollywood material to the same story. It was good that when Hollywood opened its offices in India, our filmmakers had to pay for their stories, otherwise we were just picking up stolen goods."

Paresh Rawal further said, "When Hollywood came to India, our filmmakers understood how powerful our own stories are. When they started working hard on their stories, it also gave good results." While 'Hera Pheri 3' is still some time away from release, this year Paresh Rawal will be seen in the films 'Thama' and 'The Taj Story'. Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen with him in the film 'Thama'.
