Sandeep Reddy Wanga reveals why Bobby Deol's character in Animal was deaf and dumb

According to media reports, Sandeep said that he wanted to do something different from the commonly shown characters of hero and villain. This was the reason why he chose to be deaf and dumb for the character of Abrar. Sandeep said, "When I was preparing for Bobby Deol's character of Abrar Haq, I thought, 'What if he is dumb?' Then I realised that if he is dumb, he can also be deaf. Then I got the idea that it would be perfect."

In a recent interview, Bobby Deol also shared his thoughts on the experience of working with the film's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Bobby said, "I knew that I would get a chance to shoot only for 15 days, but I knew that working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga would be great."
