In an interview given to Lehren Retro, Madhu Chopra said that during the shooting of the film Dostana, designer Manish Malhotra was working with Priyanka. For some reason, things were not working out between the two on the set. After the shooting of the film was over, Karan Johar sent a message to Manish Malhotra.

Responding to Karan's message, Manish wrote, "It's good that the film is over, now I will get rid of Priyanka." Manish was going to send this message to Karan, but by mistake it reached Priyanka. Priyanka felt bad after seeing Manish's message. Later Manish realized his mistake and the two talked. After this conversation, all the misunderstandings were cleared and Manish Malhotra and Priyanka Chopra became good friends.

Talking about work front, Priyanka Chopra and Mahesh Babu will soon be seen together in the film SSMB. Priyanka also recently went to South India for the shooting of this film. This is a big budget film and Priyanka has also charged a good fee for it. The film SSMB will be released in 2027 and it is being directed by famous director S. S. Rajamouli.
