Abhay Deol's film 'Road' set to re-release in theatres After 15 years on March 7, 2025

Bollywood actor Abhay Deol's film 'Road' is going to be released in theaters once again. The film will come in front of the audience again after 15 years of its release.

Abhay Deol starrer film 'Road' will once again hit the big screen on March 7, 2025. Abhay Deol himself has announced this on his Instagram account. The film was originally released in India on March 5, 2010. The film starred Tanishaa Chatterjee and the late Satish Kaushik in lead roles along with Abhay Deol.

Abhay Deol also shared a video of the film 'Road' on his Instagram account, announcing the date of the film's re-release. Along with the video, Abhay wrote, "That was the time when the era of indie films was starting in Bollywood. I am happy to tell you that my film 'Road, The Movie' is going to be released once again. How many of you want to see it again? Tell me, when will you go to see it? Are you a fan of cinema? Horror, thriller, romance, comedy – this film has everything. This film is all about films. 'Road, The Movie' is coming to your nearest cinema on March 7."

Directed by Dev Benegal, this film 'Road, The Movie' premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. After this, the film was also screened in the Generation 14 Plus section of the 60th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2010. The main cast of this film included Abhay Deol, Satish Kaushik, Tanishaa Chatterjee, apart from Mohammad Faizal, Yashpal Sharma, and Virendra Saxena. The story of the film revolves around Vishnu, who wants to run away from his family's hair oil business and do something different.

The special thing about this film is that this film is a part of those unique indie films of Indian cinema, which never came on a large scale, but now these films can be seen again on the big screen.
