Amid the 'India's Got Latent' controversy, YouTuber Shwetaabh Gangwar recently revealed that he spoke to his friend and comedian Samay Raina, and realised that Samay was broken and depressed. Shwetaabh also revealed that Ranveer Allahbadia, Apoorva Mukhija and Ashish Chanchlani are also going through a tough time.
In one of his videos, Shwetaabh revealed that he spoke to Samay on the phone, and he looked quite sad. He said, "Bhai sahab, that person was broken. When the controversy started, I could see the old Samay, but when I last spoke to him, he was like a broken person... sad, unhappy, scared." He also revealed that he has taken a break from social media as he felt he was unable to help his friend. Shwetaabh added, "I was mentally exhausted, I felt really bad to see my friend like this." Samay is currently in Canada for his live show, and after the 'India's Got Latent' controversy, he has taken time till March 17 to return to India so that he can record his official statement.
Meanwhile, Samay has removed all the episodes of 'India's Got Latent' from his YouTube channel. Giving a statement about this, he said, "What is happening is too much for me. I have removed all the videos of 'India's Got Latent' from my channel. My only intention was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all the agencies so that their investigation can be completed impartially. Thank you."
