Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's 'Thama' shooting begins in Mumbai, Set to release on Diwali 2025

According to reports, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna are currently shooting for their film 'Thama' on real locations in Mumbai. According to Mid-Day, Paresh Rawal will also be seen with them in this film. On March 27, the cast and crew will shift to Film City, where a set of Delhi's houses and streets has been prepared.

Delhi scenes will be shot here. After this, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will also join the shooting of the film. The director of the film aims to release the film by the end of Diwali 2025. After completing the shooting in Mumbai by the end of April, the team will leave for Ooty in May. There they will shoot the rest of the film in the Nilgiri forests and finish the entire shooting by the end of May.

The film 'Thama' is based on two time frames, but according to the latest news, a romantic story will also be shown in the film. It will be a vampire comedy film, in which the story of one-sided love will be seen. Although the main set of the film is in Delhi, where Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen playing a historian, the story will take the audience to the ancient city of Vijayanagara through flashbacks, from where the love story begins.

The film 'Thama' will be released on Diwali 2025. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, who announced this horror comedy film in 2024. The writers of the film include Niran Bhatt, Suresh Mathew and Arun Phalara.
