Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday said that the film 'Chhaava' shows the bravery and intelligence of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in a very good way, but he has many complaints with historians. Fadnavis believes that historians have not treated Sambhaji Maharaj properly.

Recently, Minister Aditi Tatkare organized a special screening of the film 'Chhaava' in Mumbai, in which Devendra Fadnavis also attended. Speaking to reporters on this occasion, Fadnavis said, "The film is very good. The film 'Chhaava' creates awareness about the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj." At the same time, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azam Azmi was suspended from the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Wednesday for praising Mughal ruler Aurangzeb. In history, it was Aurangzeb who ordered the torture and hanging of Sambhaji Maharaj.
