Ranveer Allahabadia and Apoorva apologize for obscene comments on 'India's Got Latent' before women's commission

YouTubers Ranveer Allahabad and Apoorva Makhija have been facing police complaints and criticism on social media for a long time due to the indecent comments and jokes made on Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent'. Recently, both of them were summoned by the Women's Commission and their statements were also recorded in the indecent comment case. Now it is reported that Ranveer and Apoorva have apologized for their mistake before the Women's Commission.

YouTubers Ranveer Allahabad and Apoorva Makhija have sent a written apology to the National Commission for Women (NCW) for the objectionable comments made on 'India's Got Latent'. On Friday, Women's Commission Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar informed in a press conference that the comments made on the online show are not acceptable at all.

According to the Women's Commission, four people appeared before the commission on Friday, including Tushar Pujari, Saurabh Bothra, Apoorva Mukhija and Ranveer Allahabadia. Vijaya Rahatkar further said, 'The commission has made it clear that the use of foul language is not acceptable at all. All these people regretted their comments and said that they should not have said so. They have also given a written apology and have also said that this is the first and last time, such a mistake will not happen in the future. Ranveer Allahabadia has also said that he will talk respectfully towards women.'

In this show 'India's Got Latent' run by Samay Raina, judges from different fields are called, who judge the contestants and also make comments about them. Recently, when YouTuber Ranveer came as a judge on this show, he made a controversial and indecent comment. After this, reactions started coming against him on social media, and a complaint was also lodged with the police. Apart from this, the court also reprimanded Ranveer. After apologizing for these comments, the Women's Commission ensured that no such mistake will happen in the future.
