Maddock Films has achieved a historic milestone yet again! Chhaava has soared past the 500 crore mark, making it the only Hindi film to achieve this feat in 2025. With this, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films becomes the only production house to deliver two back-to-back 500 crore blockbusters, following the massive success of Stree 2 in 2024.

The film’s phenomenal run also marks a career-defining moment for Vicky Kaushal, who becomes the youngest actor to lead a 500 crore blockbuster. 

That’s not all—Chhaava’s success extends beyond the Hindi market. The film’s Telugu version, which released three weeks after the Hindi release, opened to an excellent response on its first Friday, further solidifying its pan-India appeal. 

Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava brings to life a grand historical saga of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj along with a stellar ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, and Divya Dutta. 

Maddock Films’ winning streak is set to continue in 2025 with an exciting slate of films. Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, is set to release on April 10, 2025, followed by Param Sundari, featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, which arrives in cinemas on July 25, 2025, and the highly anticipated Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, is slated for a Diwali 2025 release.
